Now he’s faking a Bournemouth number. It’s the usual trick, saying your loft insulation is mouldy and must be changed. Total scam, just some typical fraud stuff. Got a call from some young lad claiming to be an insulation advisor, pushing loft insulation. Said he was from Reading but the number had a Bournemouth area code, which seemed odd. He started with the usual “how are you today?” and then asked if I’d had loft insulation fitted in the last two decades. He kept drilling down, even wanting to know my age. When I asked which company he was with, he dodged and said a local rep would ring back soon. Sure enough, another call came from a mobile - 07765395701 - but my wife wasn’t having any of it and just hung up straight away.
