Got a call from some bloke claiming to be an energy advisor for my region. When I asked which company he was with, he just cut me off - seriously, that’s so cheeky! Even though I’m ex-directory, these annoying people still manage to ring me. Drives me mad!

Got three calls from these numbers today: 01202 143413 twice and 01202 143599 once. Didn’t leave any messages and I don’t recognise them at all. Seems like just another spam caller trying their luck. Best to just not answer, don’t share anything, and block ‘em if you can.

I do night shifts and this number kept calling over and over. I don’t know anyone in Bournemouth so I picked up just to stop it from ringing. The bloke said he was from my energy provider and asked if I was the house owner, then I just ended the call straight away.

Some bloke rang me claiming to be Chris, an energy advisor. I just blurted out that it’s a total scam and told him to stop calling this number before slamming the phone down. Then, last Friday, another call came from someone also named Chris, sounding exactly the same, but this time from a number that ended in 73, not 99. I made it clear I wasn’t interested and warned him not to call again. Either he’s working from some dodgy call centre, which I’m not convinced by, or he’s using some sort of number spoofing. Honestly, watch yourself with these calls!

It’s beyond frustrating wondering how he got hold of my number, and even more annoying that he doesn’t stop calling even though I cut off as soon as he introduces himself. i don’t usually put my number out there since it’s ex directory, so no idea coz how they got hold of it. i never pick up unknown calls and this time was no different. no message left on my answer machine either, which makes me think it was one of those scam calls.

When my answer machine picked up, the caller just ended the call. I don't know anyone from Bournemouth, so I'm guessing it's some kind of cold caller or scam. I usually don’t bother answering numbers I’m not familiar with anyway.
