Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, and they didn’t bother to leave a message. Some bloke rang my husband claiming he was from an energy firm, wanting to confirm his name to make sure the info matched their records. My husband wouldn’t say anything and asked the guy to say their surname first. The caller kept insisting he spell out our surname, but my husband just told him again to state it himself since he said he was just checking the details. After that, the guy just ended the call.

As many have pointed out, the individual orchestrating this loft con goes by the name of Stuart Wright, residing at 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham. It appears this number, along with several others, is linked directly to him. It's infuriating to think he enjoys the comforts of a splendid home while continuing to swindle innocent people! Despite having received reports already, he remains undeterred in his deceitful activities. We must persist in reporting him so that proper measures can be taken; after all, none of us ought to endure such behaviour!

Yesterday I blocked the number 01202143277 because it was clearly scammers. They came back calling from a different number, which I've just put on my block list too.
