Some bloke rang my husband claiming he was from an energy firm, wanting to confirm his name to make sure the info matched their records. My husband wouldn’t say anything and asked the guy to say their surname first. The caller kept insisting he spell out our surname, but my husband just told him again to state it himself since he said he was just checking the details. After that, the guy just ended the call.

As others have pointed out, the bloke running this loft scam is a conman named Stuart Wright, living at 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham. Every phone number linked to this scam is registered under his name and that same address. It’s no surprise he’s got a fancy house when he’s ripping people off like this! He’s been reported multiple times yet carries on regardless. We need to keep flagging him so they actually do something about it - none of us deserve to be treated like this.

Yesterday I blocked the number 01202143277 because it was clearly scammers. They came back calling from a different number, which I've just put on my block list too.
