We get calls all the time from a Bournemouth number on our phone system. Over the past couple of weeks, someone named "Chris" has been ringing about Homeowner energy offers. He doesn’t seem to get that he’s dialing a business, because when I tell him, he just hangs up straight away! The numbers he uses are 01202 143267, 01202 143269 and 01202 143201. We’re on the TPS and renew it every year, plus I’ve reported these calls to them. If you try ringing back, there’s a recorded message saying "You were called by Digital Solution Marketing" and to press 1 if you want the calls to stop. Of course, pressing 1 does absolutely nothing and I can’t find any info about this company online.

All the phones linked to this con are under his name and address. Makes sense why he’s got a fancy pad - he keeps ripping people off! Even though he’s been reported, he hasn’t stopped. Got a call from someone named Chris who didn't care about the TPS list. He claimed my home had old yellow loft insulation. When I asked him where he was calling from, he just cut me off mid-sentence and hung up. Weirdly, about half a minute later, my landline went dead for nearly a minute - could just be a coincidence, but still kinda worrying. Also, watch out for saying things like "yes" or even "OK Chris" like I did; I hope that’s not enough for them to use as a recording to fool you into something dodgy. Just be careful about what you say when answering!

This bloke is such a pain, he just wouldn’t take no for an answer. Kept pushing a dodgy energy survey on me, claiming it’s free for people over 60. He even gave me some fake discount code and said someone would ring back to set up a time for the survey. I could hear people chuckling in the background during the call. Honestly, just ignore him. Sounds like something the police should look into.

Been getting endless calls from someone called Chris for ages now. I saw online that it might be a robot doing the calling, so rather than the usual “why are you calling?” I tried asking about the weather, thinking it’d confuse them. Sure enough, no reply - pretty sure it’s a bot. I reported it to the TPS, but they said they can’t do anything because the number’s spoofed and the company doesn’t even exist. Makes me wonder what good the TPS actually does.
