I've been getting calls from this exact number quite a bit lately. Lucky for me, I found this site and now I just ignore it. The phone only rings about four times and then it stops, no voicemail or anything.

Some bloke called named Tom said our loft insulation might need checking and maybe replacing because of mould and wear over time. When I asked how old the insulation actually was, he dodged the question and said his boss would have that info later. Total rubbish though, our house is brand new and doesn’t require any insulation work. He kept interrupting me and has been ringing every hour even after I told him to stop calling. Pretty sure it’s a scam!

Got about five or six calls from this number and a few others that finish with 208 or 212. They keep saying they're my 'local energy adviser' or something like that.

Got a call from 01202 143214 earlier. The person on the phone sounded quite polite, maybe from down south. He mentioned something about my loft insulation possibly leading to damp or mould issues and said it might need swapping out. He wanted to check a few things first, like if I'm the homeowner and if I'm over 75. Said he'd chat with his manager and give me a ring back, but no call since then.

Then, around 4:30 in the afternoon, he called again saying it was about roof insulation work we supposedly had done - which we definitely haven’t. Sounds like a total scam to me.

Some bloke said he was Chris from an energy firm, but when I told him I wasn't interested, he got all annoyed, started swearing, then just ended the call. Super dodgy!! For ages now, I've been getting calls from loads of different Bournemouth numbers. I usually just ignore them, but today I picked up because I was curious who it could be. Some bloke answered (with a delay, like from a call centre) saying he's an "energy provider nearby!" Since the number starts with 01202, typical for Poole/Bournemouth, I'm convinced it's a massive scam, just a cold call with various numbers using that area code. I just ended the call straight away.

Like a few others have mentioned, I got a call from some bloke named Chris, saying he’s from an energy firm and that my loft insulation isn’t good enough. Yeah right, has he even been up there? 😂 Then he starts asking how old I am, claiming it might qualify me for some grants. Told him off for being nosy and didn’t answer, and wouldn’t you know, he cut the call. Classic scam if you ask me. I’m signed up with the TPS too, but these annoying calls from around here keep coming. Cold calling like this shouldn’t be allowed. Hopefully no one gets caught out by this rubbish.

Got a call at about 3.47pm on Tuesday 16th November 2021 from someone claiming to be with Green Energy. They said the insulation on our roof was causing condensation and wanted some info so their manager could call us back. When asked to spell my surname, I got a bit dodgy and asked them for the info they had on me so I could double check. They refused to give anything or even a contact number to call back on, just kept saying no. I ended the call. Later I checked the number on 1471 - it came up as 01202 143214. Seems fishy, might be a scam.
