Some bloke called named Tom said our loft insulation might need checking and maybe replacing because of mould and wear over time. Got a call from 01202 143214 earlier. The person on the phone sounded quite polite, maybe from down south. He mentioned something about my loft insulation possibly leading to damp or mould issues and said it might need swapping out. He wanted to check a few things first, like if I'm the homeowner and if I'm over 75. Said he'd chat with his manager and give me a ring back, but no call since then.

Got two calls today from some guy named Tom. First one was in the morning, he said he was from Anglian Water and wanted to talk to my son, even knew his name. Then, around 4:30 in the afternoon, he called again saying it was about roof insulation work we supposedly had done - which we definitely haven’t. Sounds like a total scam to me.

Claimed to be Chris from an energy firm, I politely declined the offer. He then became rather irate, let a few choice words fly, and abruptly ended the call. When I redialed, an automated voice chimed in, revealing it was a 'marketing call for Digital Solutions.' In the end, just another annoying spam call that’s all too keen on pushing their nonsense!

Quite dodgy, if you ask me! I've been bombarded with calls from multiple numbers all originating from Bournemouth over the past few months. Thus far, I've chosen to ignore them, but today I thought I’d take the plunge and finally pick up the phone to see who was on the other end. It was some bloke - you could tell there was a bit of a delay, typical of a call centre operation - claiming to be an “energy provider in my local area.” Given that these calls are coming from 01202 codes related to Poole/Bournemouth, I can’t shake the feeling that this is just a massive scam, cold-calling with a twist of different numbers. I decided to end the call promptly.

Like many before me have noted, I received a call from some chap named Chris, claiming to be from an energy firm, insisting my loft insulation was below par. He’s apparently taken a jaunt up there himself, eh? 😂 Then he had the audacity to inquire about my age, suggesting it might assist with securing some grants. Naturally, when I told him that was a rather rude question and I wouldn’t divulge such information, he promptly hung up. Just another scam, folks. I received a rather peculiar phone call earlier today at approximately 15:47 on Tuesday, 16th November 2021. The caller claimed to be from Green Energy, stating that the roof insulation we had installed was apparently leading to condensation issues and they needed my details so their manager could get in touch. When he asked how to spell my surname, I began to feel a bit wary. I prompted him to provide the information he supposedly had on file for verification, yet he adamantly refused and wouldn’t share a number for me to call back either. After expressing my concerns, I decided to hang up. I then dialled 1471 to trace the call, which returned the number 01202 143214. I have a strong suspicion this could be a scam.
