Got a call from someone saying there was a problem with insulation they had put in my house before. But the caller couldn’t confirm who they were or even get my name or address right. I told them I wouldn’t share anything or answer until they proved who they were with some official info. Then, without warning, they just hung up on me. Pretty sure it was a dodgy spam call trying to fish for info.

Got a call again from a Bournemouth number within a few days. The first time, no one said a word, just silence. Today, they were chatting about how my loft insulation wasn’t up to scratch. Loft Insulation Nuisance Calls. Honestly, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been bothered by this company posing as ‘energy consultants’. No matter how frequently I block their numbers, they promptly pop up with a different one a few weeks down the line. It's particularly annoying as there are times I’ve gotten multiple calls in just one week - like this week, for instance. It strikes me as a clear case of harassment, and it’s baffling to me that neither my telecom provider nor the authorities seem able to put an end to their relentless antics.

I find it rather perplexing that someone from Bournemouth considers themselves local to Cambridgeshire. When I inquired about which property he was discussing, given that I manage several, he simply hung up. This definitely smells like a scam; if he were genuine, he would have known the precise property he was referring to. What’s more, the same individual rang me again about an hour later, this time from the number 01202 143185, delivering a similar spiel.

I’ve just discovered that this number is linked to 21a Plymouth Road in Barnt Green, Birmingham, postcode B45 8JF, belonging to someone named Stuart Wright. It’s rather disheartening to think we’ve pinpointed the abode of this con artist! It’s hardly surprising that he resides in such a lovely, spacious home; it appears he’s been lining his pockets at the expense of others!
