I’m registered with the TPS, so these calls are definitely not allowed. I always report them and ask which third-party data controller handed over my info for these calls. The ICO would see this as a breach since nobody should be ringing numbers on the TPS list. Plus, I’ve told my energy supplier not to share or use any of my data at all. This whole thing feels dodgy, especially since they keep changing the phone number they call from!

Wow, just saw the previous comment about 34 calls in 3 days from them! Can't imagine how annoying that must be. Lucky for me, I’ve only had one call off an unknown number so far, and I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know anyway. Probably saved me some hassle!

Someone just rang me up saying the loft insulation I got done recently (which is not true!) isn’t good and will cause condensation in the house (totally false!). I had my loft insulation fitted properly ages ago, with proper lap vents put in too. Not had a single bit of condensation ever since. These calls are just from muppets ringing numbers on the TPS list. Don’t fall for their nonsense - just block and report them!

Some bloke called himself Chris and claimed he was from Energy Advice near me. Thing is, I’m up in the north of England and Bournemouth is hardly ‘local’, so that tells me everything I need to know. Total scam. I’m on the TPS and my number’s ex-directory, so they must be getting their info illegally or using auto-diallers. Proper dodgy stuff.

Somebody called me claiming to be Chris, an energy advisor, but got my location wrong - said he's from Bournemouth but calling folks in Plymouth like me. I spoke with my neighbour yesterday and she mentioned getting the same call. I just ended it straight away.
