I'm so tired of this guy who keeps ringing me, says his name is Chris and that he's some kind of energy advisor from around here. He calls from loads of different numbers, so blocking doesn't work. I've told him I know it's a scam and asked him to stop, but he just carries on. It's really frustrating.

got a call about loft insulation from some energy company. they actually used my first name, the one my mates call me, which was a bit weird. i told them i didnt have the insulation they mentioned but then about two hours later they phoned again. i said you’ve already called and explained that but they just went through the whole spiel once more and then suddenly just ended the call. strange experience.

On the 27th of October 2021, I kept getting calls on my landline from this number and a few others that were almost the same, just the last digit or two were different. I didn’t pick up any of them and there wasn’t any voicemail either. I’ve since blocked all those numbers.

Got a call from someone really pushy trying to sell loft insulation, going on about some government scheme to add more stuff to the loft. Quite off-putting how forceful they were.

Got a call about some loft insulation from an energy company, and the caller actually knew my first name, which surprised me. When I explained that I didn’t have the kind of installation on their paperwork, the bloke just cut me off. Then, about a couple of hours later, he phoned again. I pointed out that he’d already called, but he just ran through the same spiel once more before ending the call abruptly. Quite annoying, really.

Was a bit unclear cause they spoke so fast. Said they were from some government dept doing surveys about loft insulation being unsafe and needing changed. Told me I was the only one on the street who hadn’t got it sorted yet. Felt kinda threatening to be honest.

I decided to ring back, only to be greeted by a robotic voice stating that I was contacted for marketing regarding a Digital Solutions Marketing Company! I'm really pleased I didn't pick up that call. Thankfully, we're on the Telephone Preference Service, so I've now blocked that number!

A phone call commenced with a voice sporting a thick southern English accent, introducing himself as "Chris, the energy advisor for your local postcode." He then prattled on about whether I had insulation fitted through some government initiative and implied it was unsuitable, before offering a complimentary survey. It definitely felt like a scam to me. In addition to that, I got the impression that Chris’s routine was more of a pre-recorded message than an actual conversation, with pauses intended for the recipient's responses. When I mentioned I hadn’t had any insulation done, he simply carried on with his script, completely disregarding my answer. There was a lot of distracting background noise too, reminiscent of a call centre environment.
