I’ve been getting repeated calls from someone claiming I just got home insulation done, which isn’t true at all. They keep saying the insulation I have might be dangerous for my house. These calls have been coming for a few months now and the person keeps pushing it hard, so I just end the call and block the number straight away. The company seems to ring from loads of different numbers though, which is odd. Plus, my number’s unlisted, so I’m baffled how they managed to find it in the first place.

Told him I wasn’t interested. This was the third time he’d called.

Like others have mentioned, I received a call from someone purporting to be an "energy consultant," chatting about insulation programs or something along those lines. They even tossed around some initials for a specific scheme, claiming my address was flagged for it. When I pressed them to elaborate on what the initials stood for, the call abruptly ended. I had a hunch that I'd heard that voice before during similar dubious calls. I suspect it might have been from another 01202 number as well. They sounded quite polished and knowledgeable, but it was clear it was a con.
