Simply put, this appears to be yet another dodgy insurance ploy to steer clear of. Given that it's operating out of Bournemouth, it might well be both unlawful and infuriating. If you’re approached, request they send over paperwork instead and refrain from divulging any personal information.

Felt dodgy pretty quick when she started asking for my bank info - if I already had an account with them, surely they’d have that? I told her to send any info over email, but didn’t give out my address since they’d already have that on file. Then she tried to connect me to her manager, but I wasn’t having any of it. Smells like a classic scam to me.

Then yesterday, another woman phoned from the exact same number saying my boiler needed a service. I explained that it had already been serviced just before Christmas, and she cut off straight away.

The caller was really courteous and asked if I had any heating and plumbing breakdown cover. I told them I’m paying £37.99 a month with my current provider, Home Safe. They then offered the same plan but for just £24.99 a month. They even sent me the documents to review and I ended up switching to their service.
