Called today around 11.40 am by someone named tracy, who warned me that my loft insulation was outdated and unsafe because it was fibreglass. I told her the ceilings were done up recently in a renovation and all the loft insulation had been sorted, which seemed to end the call. She said she was ringing from a home efficiency scheme or something like that. Even though I’m on the TPS, these calls still keep slipping through.

Got a call from someone named Natalie Underwood claiming to be from the Home Efficiency Scheme. She said the insulation up in my loft is outdated based on some "renewable energy database." Honestly, I’m so sick of these pointless calls disrupting my day. I’m on the TPS but it makes no difference. The whole thing feels like a con since the number they used came up as “not in service.”

Got a call from someone called Matthew who said he's an advisor about loft insulation for UK homes, mentioning some subsidies you can get. The number he called from didn’t seem to be from a real landline or mobile. When I seemed a bit busy, he was actually quite polite and said I could go, which was nice. Doesn’t seem like any kind of scam at all.

I keep getting loads of dodgy calls claiming to be about window deals, loft insulation, and even stuff like my Amazon Prime account. It's getting proper annoying. Does anyone know how to spot if a call is legit or just another scam?

some bloke called matthew, sounded like he had a british accent, was asking me about loft insulation and even knew my name. i told him i wasn’t up for talking about it at the moment, then he just hung up on me out of nowhere. definitely felt a bit shady, maybe a scam?

Got a call from a bloke called Matthew, sounded like he was from England, asking about loft insulation. He even knew my name! When I told him I couldn’t chat about it at the moment, he just hung up straight away. Feels a bit dodgy to me. Also, when I tried calling back, the number said it was “not in service” with some American voice message. Scam or what?
