Had a call from some loft insulation firm, and to the person who mentioned a scam below, I’m with you. The bloke said I’d gotten in touch “earlier,” which makes no sense as I’m happy with my current insulation. These lot just won’t quit, and I guess it’s because eventually, they’ll find someone to take the bait. If I ever want any work done on my home, I’ll be the one to contact the right people myself.

He called about some insulation thing and when I asked where he got my details from, he claimed it was the renewable energy database. I was like, that’s rubbish ‘cos I phoned the renewable energy consumer commission myself and they said no such list exists!

This 01202039454 number has been ringing me loads lately. What’s weird is it’s working around my answerphone. Normally it rings a few times then the machine picks up, but with this one, it just rings once and then a voice announces the caller’s number before hanging up. Bit creepy if you ask me.
