I recently had a rather peculiar phone call from this number on my mobile. A woman eventually came on the line and inquired about my wellbeing. Naturally, I countered with, "Who are you and what’s this about?" To my surprise, she claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. I don’t recall ever sharing my number with them, so I pressed her on how she obtained it, considering both my landline and mobile are registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Her reply was rather unsatisfactory, as she abruptly said goodbye! I’ve since blocked the number.
