I got a call from this number, saying it was about checking if my home was suitable for loft insulation because apparently it had the “old kind” already in place. Since I've recently relocated, I asked them which address they meant but they couldn’t give me a clear answer. They said someone else would be in touch to schedule the inspection and that person would have those details. I pressed them more, asking how they could say my property was flagged without actually knowing anything about it, and the conversation quickly became ridiculous, so I just hung up.

I’ve just received a rather bizarre phone call myself. The chap on the line claimed he was extending a delightful 50% discount. When I requested that he erase my information from their records, he had the audacity to question why he ought to comply. I pointed out that my phone number constitutes personal data, and he’s legally required to honour my request. Rather infuriatingly, he then questioned why he should spare a moment to sort out the removal of my number, insinuating that I wasn’t worthy of even half a minute of his time! That really did it for me, and I swiftly terminated the call.
