This person rings me loads throughout the day, sometimes even early in the morning which wakes me up. Today alone they’ve phoned me twice. I’ve put the number on block but somehow the calls still come through, often while I’m driving. It’s been like this for nearly two years now, proper harassment. The number is 44 120 600024 but they use different numbers often, and the caller always goes by “miss”.

A lady rang me saying she was from Vodafone and was giving me a free iPhone upgrade. I told her straight it sounded dodgy. She tried to be smart, saying it was a special Christmas offer and that I was missing out if I didn’t accept. Watch out for these calls, folks. If you can, keep them talking a bit longer - it helps us spot their tricks and maybe stop someone else from getting caught out.

I put this down as just usual spam but got to say it’s definitely a scam. A woman rang saying she was from Carphone Warehouse, which I actually work for. She couldn’t tell me anything about my current contract or even what services the real Carphone Warehouse offers. If anyone ever calls asking for your bank info or private details, just hang up! A proper company won’t be asking you for stuff they already have on file.

I got a call from someone talking in a language I couldn’t catch, so I asked if they spoke English. They said they did, but then started swearing at me, something like “you m* f*...” I asked what they wanted and they told me to eat raw meat, calling me a “m* f* white boy.” I told him I was a vegan and don’t eat meat, so no chance there. He kept going with the insults, then just hung up. Honestly, maybe the guy was just feeling lonely or something.

Got a call from this number saying they were with Carphone Warehouse. They tried to sell me an iPhone 12 Max Pro for just £25 a month but I was suspicious straight away. Told them I was tied up and asked them to send me an email and ring back later. I only shared my email, and it looked fishy. The email had a Carphone logo and came from @mobilescarphonewarehouse, which might trick someone who’s not careful. Definitely feels like a risky number to me.

Hey, I’m the same person who posted earlier about "This number being a SCAM". Turns out, they’re ringing from a bunch of different lines. I was at work, but kinda made a game out of it. I acted like my phone dropped the call, which made them ring back from a different number. They definitely wanted to keep me hooked once they saw I was interested. Some of the other numbers I spotted were: 01200 600031 0115 7060016 01200 600029 I don’t really have time to track all their numbers, but sharing what we know is useful. Hopefully they get stopped before they mess up more folks’ lives.

Like some others mentioned, I reckon this is a scam. Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, trying to sell me some deals. I told him no thanks, I’d just bought a new phone, and asked him to take my number off their list. At that moment, I thought it was a proper marketing call from Carphone Warehouse. Then the guy said he’d only remove my number if I gave him a kiss! I immediately ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with o2 saying I qualified for a discount on my plan. They sent me a text from a number that looked legit with a code I had to share back. They seemed to know I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and offered to drop my contract to £43 a month. While sorting the discount, they mentioned a free o2 hamper including a watch (brand unknown), but said I couldn’t get it because I already have a watch financed through o2. Right after the call, I got a text saying my account password had been changed, so I quickly updated it myself. What worries me most is how my password got changed in the middle of the call. I didn’t share any bank or debit card details at all. Now I’m trying to speak with a real person at o2 to get this sorted.
