Then he suddenly brought up life insurance. I told him I didn’t have any, but he insisted he had info on my policy. I said that even if I did, I wasn’t about to share the company details with some random caller. He just said alright and then hung up.

Got a call from a guy speaking with a really thick accent. He mentioned my name and the postcode before asking if I’d had the Covid jab and whether I experienced any side effects. Then he switched the topic to life insurance. I told him I didn’t have any, but he insisted he had my life insurance info. I told him I wasn’t about to share my insurance company’s details with him. After that, he just said “alright” and ended the call.

I've received three calls from this number already. Each time, I asked what they were after. This last one was about my NHS vaccination status and whether I'd had any side effects from it. The very first call was just to verify my address for sending out a vaccination certificate. I made sure not to give away any personal information. I’ve now blocked the number as it all seems rather dodgy to me. Definitely a scam.

Pretty much the same as others have said. This is the third time I've been called like this. I just block every number they use. They always ask for me by name, and when I ask who it is, they say something like "NHS" and then try to start with "how are you?" Nah, that’s not right. If it was the NHS or a doctor, I’d get a text with details, not a phone call for a chat or asking questions they should already know. These people are proper dodgy.

Got a call from this number earlier today, some bloke with a really thick Indian accent rang me up asking about my covid vaccine status and what i thought of my gp. Then he started pressing me for insurance details and tried to change my address, kept pushing it quite a bit. I told him i wasn’t convinced he was legit and refused to share anything, then just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the “Public Health Department.” It was a bloke with a thick Asian accent. He clearly knew my name and started asking me about my Covid jab, whether I had life insurance, whether I’d been tested recently, then went into quite specific questions about the life insurance - who it was with and how much it cost. Lots of questions, one after the other. When he tried confirming my address, he actually gave me an old postcode for my previous home. He also mentioned that I'd be getting some kind of Public Health Department certificate through the post soon. I wasn’t forthcoming with any real info but he did have my mobile, surname and even that outdated postcode! Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
