Got a call supposedly from the NHS, but it felt dodgy straight away. They started asking about my vaccinations, then suddenly switched to questions about my life insurance. So this woman called, started asking about life insurance out of nowhere right after going on about Covid stuff. I told her I didn’t see how they were connected and just ended the call. Next she called again but I just let it ring. Then she phoned once more, I answered, and she went back to the life insurance questions. I didn’t hang up quick enough and she called me back immediately! Ridiculous!

Received a call claiming to be from the NHS about my Covid pass. It sounded a bit dodgy, so I wasn’t too sure if it was legit or a scam. They asked for personal info which made me suspicious straight away. Definitely wouldn’t recommend giving out details over the phone unless you’re 100% certain!

This morning, I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from the NHS. He started out asking if I'd had both my vaccines and if I'd experienced any side effects. Then out of nowhere, he asked if I had life insurance. I asked him why on earth the NHS would care about my insurance details. He mumbled something about the omicron variant and said he had to enter a yes or no answer in the system. I told him to just put down that it’s none of his business. He said alright, thanked me, and hung up. Proper strange, that call!

Got a call this morning from some bloke with an Indian accent, barely made out what he was on about. Definitely one of those coronavirus scams. I played along for ages, feeding him rubbish answers. Seemed pretty fresh at the job, didn’t even bother asking my name. When I pointed out he never asked, he tried saying my first name, and I just told him he was wrong - then he just hung up! No idea what he was trying to pull. I’d say it’s more annoying than dangerous. Seriously, don’t hand over any info!

A lady rang me claiming to be from "NHS Track and Trace" saying she needed to do some kind of COVID verification and asked if I’d had the vaccine, saying there were a few questions she wanted to go through. I told her straight away it sounded like a scam. She asked why I thought that, so I explained that if she really was from the NHS, why would she need me to confirm anything? I even said I work for the NHS myself. She went quiet and then just hung up on me.
