Got a call from a lady saying she was from track and trace, wanting to update my covid vaccination info. This is the third time I've blocked her as the numbers keep changing slightly, like 615, 616, 617. At the end, she suddenly asked if I had private health insurance. I told her, "Ah, so that's why you're calling, trying to get that info." Then she just hung up.

Complete con. Someone rang claiming they were calling from the Covid jab centre and started asking if I’d had the vaccine. I said if they were legit, they’d already have that info. Then they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call on my phone from a bloke who sounded Asian. He first asked if he could speak to my missus. I told him I’m her husband and asked what he wanted. He then said something about us owing money and that they could assist. But when I asked him exactly what debts he was talking about, he just ended the call.

I had a similar experience - it’s definitely a con! They claimed to be from a Government Vaccination hub and tried to fish for my postcode. The bloke had a rather impolite manner, and I only clocked on after the fact that it was a dodgy scheme. They seemed particularly interested in identifying the insurance provider for my life policy.

Got a ring from a woman with an Indian accent, claiming to be calling about the covid vaccine. I asked, "You’re not asking me to cough up £500 for a jab, are you?" She hesitated and said something about updating records. I replied, "Oh really? Why would that be happening here in the UK?" I live in Wales, by the way, and I thought straight away - this sounds like a scam! She then admitted, "Yes ma’am." At that point, I cut them off before I could tell them what I really thought. Needless to say, that number's now firmly blocked!

They said it was the NHS Covid team checking info like symptoms and stuff, then asked to verify my address. The weird part? They used an old address from nearly a decade ago. Got a call from someone with a Nigerian accent and they somehow knew my name. When I asked where exactly they were from, I didn't get a proper answer and just said "Who?" then they ended the call.
