Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft saying my PC was full of viruses. I found it hilarious telling them I put the whole thing together myself and there’s no way that’s true. They kept pushing to remotely access my computer to “fix” it. No chance with my £6000 rig! But honestly, anyone less tech savvy could get totally screwed over. Never let anyone take control of your PC remotely. And just a heads up, Microsoft will never ask you for your product key. Stay careful out there.

The business man I found, Oluwole Fatunde, apparently charges folks £495 to investigate something they call unenforceable credit, which sounds like a total scam. He says he’s got lawyers involved but it all seems dodgy. I’ve seen him operating in Manchester, Cardiff, Swansea, and maybe even Birmingham and London. Right now he’s using the name Veritas, which is linked to UCA 495 Fees, with authorisation number CRM33495. If you wanna report him, you’ll need that number for the trading standards or the Moj.

I can’t quite recall the name or the company she mentioned, but it was the typical “you’ve been in a car accident” spiel. Normally I’d have a bit of fun with these calls, joke around and stuff, but I’m really hurting today, so I just told her to stop ringing as I don’t even have a driving licence. As usual, she went quiet, so I just hung up.

Received a text this time, usually they call. Said I'd been in an accident! Well, guess what? No, I wasn't.
