Also, earlier that day at about 12.01pm, I had a missed call from 01182 302105. Both numbers have the same area code and look pretty alike, makes me wonder if someone’s got a batch of these numbers. The comments about the other number seem to match up too.

Loads of calls coming from these lot, all about some insulation scam. If you try and answer but get no reply, it’s probably cause someone else picked up before you did. Earlier, this woman with a bit of a harsh tone just started rattling on and talked right over me. I tried telling her I’m on the TPS, but she cut me off before I even finished saying it. Got a call about a free loft insulation check. Thought it was genuine but they just wanted me to replace what’s already up there with their own stuff. Suspicious calls from overseas, they’re the worst. If there’s some kind of financial gain or a freebie, don’t expect a phone call about it. You’ve got to dig through loads of websites and make endless calls yourself. Nobody ever just calls to say you’re owed something at no cost! It’s most likely a scam every single time.

Got a call from someone saying her name was “Jo” about attic insulation. Pretty sure she wasn’t really Jo though, sounded like a bunch of pre-recorded bits stitched together to make it seem like a convo, with awkward pauses and random rubbish. Ended up just hanging up and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from a woman saying she was from some energy saving advice team. She reckoned my loft had fibreglass insulation and implied it was no good - sounded like she was trying to push one of their installations on me. I told her straight away that I live in a new build, so it’s properly insulated, no way it’s fibreglass. After that, she didn’t say a thing and just ended the call. Makes me wonder how much they’re ripping people off with this kind of nonsense!
