I told her my house is just four years old. When I asked who she was, she said she worked for lots of eco companies. I said I’m not trusting anyone and asked for an email. Then she just hung up on me.

Got a call from a woman who said she was the energy advisor for my region, saying my loft insulation failed to meet the latest efficiency rules. I asked her how she had that info and she claimed it was listed on a government database for the house. I told her she ought to update it because my loft insulation is perfectly fine. She started getting a bit rude, so I told her there’s no point in calling again since everyone round here is wise to her scam, then I ended the call.
