On 22nd July 2022 at around 4:15 pm, I picked up a call from this number. A woman was on the line saying something about their company sending people to check insulation in homes nearby. I told her straight away that I don’t entertain cold call sales pitches and ended the call before she could get another word in.

Had a quick chat with the caller who asked a couple of things. We mentioned that our place is really well insulated.

It’s clear they’re running some kind of scam. They’re super annoying and won’t give up. Honestly, I’m fed up with it all. Best thing to do is not answer and just flag them up with ICO and Action Fraud.

When I asked who it was, they stayed silent and just ignored me. They mentioned something about loft insulation needing to be replaced with fibre glass and asked if I’d had a survey done in the past 18 months - which I haven’t, as I told them. Sounds a bit fishy to me.

Got a call from some energy insulation firm today. Funny thing is, they rang last week too, and when I said I wasn’t the homeowner, they promised to take me off their calling list. Clearly that didn’t happen. I wasn’t exactly nice to them this time.

Over the past three days, I got three calls from this number. On the first call, the last two digits were different, and they asked for my name and if my house number was **. They claimed it was about checking the electrical wiring in the house. I told them I don’t know who they were and then they just hung up. One of the calls didn’t even confirm my details at all. Now that I realise it’s a dodgy number, I’m just going to block it if they ring again.
