An Indian gentleman inquired for someone with my surname prefixed by 'Mrs.' Now, just to clarify, I’m not wed, so that title doesn’t quite apply to me. When I probed further about who was on the line, the call cut out, and then a woman with a northern lilt came through, equally puzzled about the situation. It really felt like both of us had been called at random and somehow linked together by the phone line. Quite the strange occurrence!
