So, I dialled 01158 883092, and a chap with an accent that seemed African-American picked up. He claimed that a colleague named James Anderson had attempted to reach me. He then proceeded to insist that I owed a significant amount in taxes, which I firmly denied, prompting me to inquire who he was. He ominously warned me to prepare for visits from Sheriff Officers and the Police, as they would be arriving to arrest me. After delivering this threat, he promptly disconnected the call.

Crikey, they were persistent! Got three missed calls and three messages left on answerphone. They phoned me three times in the afternoon, around 1pm, 1.20pm and then 1.26pm, each time leaving a voicemail threatening court action and a warrant! I tried calling them back and surprisingly they asked for my mother-in-law. It’s odd because I’ve only recently made some bookings using her card, with her permission, and her details too.
