Got a call today from some call centre claiming they’re nearby. They asked who my phone provider was, then if I had Sky Movies and sports channels. Next thing, they said they’d get someone else to compare offers. I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up. But they kept calling me back over and over - absolutely annoying. Got a call from some call centre asking me to tell them who my phone provider is. Honestly, it was a bit creepy because the bloke already knew my name. I told him to mind his own business and I’ve blocked the number now.

Been getting calls from that number nearly every evening as soon as I walk in. They never leave a message on my answerphone. I answered once when they rung back, but there was nothing but silence. Fingers crossed they stop soon. At first, I was a bit anxious, thinking it could be someone trying to see if my house was unoccupied. I’d read somewhere that some thieves do this kind of thing.

I wasn’t convinced and told them I needed to check with my husband before deciding, so asked them to call back later. They said they’d ring again tonight. Honestly, they’re really pushy. I’m not sure if they’re scammers or just annoying salespeople. I hope they aren’t scammers, because I didn’t share any personal info with them. Strangely, they already had my name and address.
