Got a call on my mobile from some automated voice claiming to be from HM Customs & Excise! As soon as I heard it was a recorded message, I hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from some supposed HMRC people, left me a voicemail warning about legal troubles or something like that. Sounded dodgy to me, so I just blocked the number straight away. Definitely a scam, avoid it!

Got a call like others mentioned, this automated message with a digitally altered American woman’s voice, saying it was for an ‘HMRC officer’ named Dennis Gray. It said to ring their ‘hotline’ or get a lawyer involved urgently. Total rubbish... just ignore and block them, it’s definitely a scam.

Got a message on my voicemail from some robotic American woman saying she’s from HMRE and warned that if I don’t answer, they’ll charge me. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.
