This number phoned me a couple of times pretending to be HMRC and talking about court stuff. It's definitely a scam, so I wouldn’t bother answering - just block it as soon as it rings.

Got a call this morning from a mate who was completely freaked out. The caller claimed she had a fraud case hanging over her head from 2014 to 2019, and they sounded really legit. They even gave her a made-up court case number and kept asking about her lawyer. Said she owed close to £3,000 in fees and interest, threatening her that her bank accounts and cards would get frozen. They even said she’d be arrested if she didn’t sort it quick. Proper dodgy scammers, total nightmare.
