Got a call from what sounded like the HMRC about some kind of tax issue, but it was just a recorded message trying to trick me out of money. Pretty obvious scammer stuff if you ask me.

Got a call from this number but missed it. Rang them back and some bloke answered, claiming to be from HMRC, sounding like an Indian scammer. There was an automated message with a "Division Number" to dial, which definitely didn’t sound British, more like something from the States.

Got a strange voicemail from someone claiming to be HMRC. It was all automated, saying there’s some urgent matter and I need to ring back ASAP, even asked for extension numbers. Didn’t trust it, so just blocked the number straight away.

They rang me a couple of times and left voicemails claiming to be from HMRC, telling me not to ignore them. Total scam, so I just blocked the numbers. It’s a pity you can’t find their actual postal addresses - I’d happily post them my leftovers from a couple of days ago, right after I’ve, erm, used them!

I got a voicemail from a woman’s voice, sounded like some robot, saying she was from HMRC and threatening to take me to court and even arrest me if I didn’t get back to them. Definitely a scam trying to scare people.

I got a call yesterday from a different number, same pre-recorded woman’s voice saying I needed to get in touch with my solicitor of record about taxes. Obviously it was a scam so I just hung up and blocked them straight away.
