On 28/01/2021 at about 1.40 pm I got a call from 01141079470. When I picked up, all I could hear was a crackling sound, kinda like when a tape’s winding down, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HR, asking for my National Insurance info and other personal details. Definite scam, had to hang up straight away. Stay careful out there!

Somebody rang me claiming to be from HMRC, acting like an officer, telling me to call back on their number or I'd get into serious trouble. Proper threatening stuff.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with HMRC. She told me I'd better get in touch with a solicitor or I'd end up in serious trouble. Seemed a bit dodgy to me!

Got a voicemail from some woman claiming to be from HMRC, which was unusual cos they hardly ever leave messages. She said I needed to ring back or there’d be “consequences”, something about not getting paid. Honestly, feels kinda ridiculous. Wish I could zap their phone with like 10,000 volts or something to shut them down! Don’t bother calling these numbers back, it’s definitely a scam.
