I got a call about 4 in the afternoon from someone saying they were Virgin Media, trying to push a 30% discount deal. She asked what sort of package I had with them. I ended up telling the woman, who sounded Indian, to watch her manners and then just ended the call right there.

Got a call from some woman who said she was with O2, trying to sell cheap phones. I told her she’d reached a business number and I couldn’t assist her, but she just brushed me off, saying she didn’t care and would keep ringing anyway. I was a bit shocked and asked her to say that again, and she went on about not bothering to mention it’s a business line because it didn’t matter to her. Apparently, we’re on their list and she’ll keep calling whether I want it or not.
