Just like other people said, the person on the phone said he was from ‘UK Pension’. When I asked him to be clear if he was with the government or some particular pension company, he only kept repeating ‘UK Pension’. Seems dodgy to me, probably best to just block the number.

I called back and this woman with a strong accent answered, claiming to be from UK PENSIONS. I asked for the FCA number (financial conduct authority number) and she just said "huh?". I asked again and told her that if she is really dealing with pensions she should have an FCA number. Then she just hung up on me lol.

I rang back this number and after asking plenty of questions it turned out to be a call centre based in India. When I asked for their Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) registration, the lady couldn't provide it and just ended the call. Pensions are strictly regulated here and should only be handled by a Level 4 PFS certified advisor. Don’t share any personal details - just hang up and block the number straight away.

I picked up thinking it was someone I knew from Leeds as the caller ID showed that area, but the voice was really hard to follow and it was about pensions or something. Ended up just blocking the number because it gave me no clue who was on the other end!

Picked up expecting a different call but it turned out to be some pension review lot who kept insisting it wasnt a sales pitch and they werent after my personal info. Something just felt off, so I asked them to send info by post. When they refused and asked for my email instead, saying I’d get a confirmation text, I told them I was ending the call. Reading these comments now, im glad I trusted my gut. They sounded very convincing though.

Got a call from this number, it showed up on my phone as being from Leeds. When I picked up, a woman said “hello, this is shelley weavers” but i told her i didn’t recognise the name. she then said sorry and ended the call. felt really off. she acted like she’d dialled the wrong number but you could hear loads of people talking in the background like a call centre, quite dodgy. i’d probably just ignore it.
