I never had any credit cards with the ones she mentioned, so she said she’d take me off their list. Heads up, I reckon the call cost me around £3-4 even though it was only a minute long. Best not to ring them back.

They kept ringing me non stop and then just cut me off. Got proper annoyed today so I rang them straight back. Asked for someone who clearly wasn’t there. When I asked who it was, they said Red Star. Then when I asked what that even meant, they claimed they were some sort of 'financial investigators'. I just laughed and told them to stop calling me, and that if they do call again, maybe don’t hang up on people cos it makes them look bad.

They said they were RED STAR and wanted to tell me I could get some money back. Asked for my bank info but were really rude, so I just ended the call.

A rather unfamiliar-sounding woman on the other end claimed I was due a refund linked to a loan I supposedly took out back in 2009.
