Nowadays, I only pick up if I know who’s ringing - if it’s important, they’ll just leave a voicemail. This site has been a lifesaver, though; once I’ve checked the number and found it’s just a spammer, I save it in my phone under blocked.

This number keeps ringing, but by the time I reach for my phone, they’ve already hung up! Curiosity got the better of me, so I attempted to return the call, only to be met with a message saying it’s an invalid number. Quite the mystery, this one!

Got a call from some bloke asking if I had life insurance, and I said I wasn’t sure. Then he asked if I’d got any kids, but I told him I was busy at work and couldn’t chat. Out of nowhere, he asks, “Do you want children?” I told him again I was working. Then he just goes, “Would you like to have children with me?” I just said goodbye, but he then said “Love you.” Is this guy just a pest, or is he a creepy weirdo?

Received a call regarding my life insurance being assessed due to some new regulations. Oddly enough, they knew my birth date. The chap I spoke with was quite charming and chatty-lovely Welsh fella, he was. He mentioned how I was essentially paying my bank for the privilege of having this policy and that he could find me a better deal. I declined, expressing my concern over possibly jeopardising my existing coverage. Then, he handed me over to his manager, who was just as amiable at first but quickly turned a bit curt when I hesitated to divulge more information. In the end, I firmly told him where to go and hung up.
