I received a call from some dodgy bloke claiming he required my credit card details to prolong my washing machine's warranty. He was incredibly insistent, which just raised my suspicions.

They were really pushing me to give out my credit card info straight away. When I asked for the make and model of the machine, they couldn’t provide any of that info. They claimed they already had all my details and said the warranty was about to expire - which isn’t true, mine finished ages ago. But funny enough, they didn’t know the brand or model. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam to me.
