Got a call from someone saying they were from the Pension Department, asking about my pension. As soon as I told them I’m already receiving one, they promptly ended the call without so much as a sorry or a goodbye. Pretty rude if you ask me. Just tell them straight up you’re already on a pension - they have no way of checking and usually just hang up. It’s a dead giveaway that they’re shady.
