I received a phone call from this number stating that my BTW Internet has been hacked. They advised me to turn on my computer. I responded in a rather firm manner, expressing my disdain and asking the caller to leave me alone. Interestingly, this was the second call I received within a span of 10 minutes, and this time it was from a different number.

Earlier today, I received a call from a certain number. A lady with an Asian accent (whom I could hardly comprehend) informed me that she was calling on behalf of BT, informing me that my internet had been disconnected. Without further hesitation, I promptly ended the call.

So this number rang me twice today, first one was early, like before 7am on a Saturday. They left the same kind of message everyone else seems to get. Seriously, can someone just block this number already?

We received five telephone calls within a span of two days. Earlier today, we identified ourselves as the Herts Fraud Squad during one of these calls. However, we are uncertain if this revelation will have any impact on the situation.

Got a ring from this number super early, like 6:45 in the morning. Didn't pick up though.

Had almost the exact same thing happen to me, this guy claimed he was from BT Tech Support, called himself Kevin but sounded like he was from somewhere in Asia. I threw in my best "No no no! Not today!" in that Little Britain style, and he quickly hung up! Honestly hoping Kev, or should I say Raj, rings again so I can mess with him some more! Haha, brilliant!

This morning at 0730, I was contacted by a young woman with an Asian accent who identified herself as a representative from the BT technical department. Irritated by the early hour, I immediately expressed my disapproval and instructed her not to call me at such an inconvenient time. However, just moments later, I received a second call, this time from a man with an Asian accent also claiming to be from BT. He insisted that it was necessary for me to turn on my computer so he could guide me through some technical procedures. Fed up with the persistent interruption, I promptly ended the call without further discussion.

Just got a call at 7:35 in the morning from a guy named Richard saying my internet was about to be cut off. Proper irritating, especially when I was trying to wake up my elderly parents. They really need to fix their calling hours, it’s not on.

However, this time I mentioned that I had just spoken to his colleague and exposed his deception. As a result, he quickly hung up. I am extremely frustrated with these bothersome calls and desperately wish for them to cease immediately.

I have encountered an extremely impolite individual today who has placed two unpleasant phone calls in which they expressed a desire to disconnect my computer.

She mentioned that my internet was being hacked and instructed me to turn on my PC so that she could guide me. I became suspicious and asked her some questions, but she put me on hold and eventually disconnected the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, but something felt off. I told them I thought it was dodgy and asked if I could ring them back on a number. They gave me 011558882520, which I found out is linked to scams. They ended the call soon after.

This number kept ringing me all day yesterday but I just ignored it. Today, it popped up as 'number withheld' so I picked up. Some Indian bloke told me my internet was about to be cut off. I said 'yeah right, no way' and they just hung up on me!

The person on the line said they were calling from Sweden and working for BT, warning that my internet was gonna be disconnected later that day. Twice in the past 30 minutes this number has rung me. First it was a woman with a Canadian accent, then a bloke who sounded Indian. Both said they were from BT and said there was an issue with my broadband. Thing is, there’s no problem at all. So annoying!

A few weeks back, I managed to drag out a call with them for about 20 minutes, feeling pretty smug afterwards. Then today, they insisted they had the government’s permission to ring me up, which I couldn’t help but doubt. They claim it’s from some UK authority or something - sounded a bit off to me. When I told the bloke he was talking nonsense, he got really short with me. Then, out of the blue, he called again an hour later and was straight away rude and pushy. Guess I ruffled his feathers a bit! Definitely going to block that number now.

Got calls from this number twice on 7th October, also showed up as 00009999945. They clearly have no clue about which fake number to use. Our phone shows who’s calling, so I just don’t pick up. They hang up pretty quick anyway! If BT can figure out the number on caller ID, why don’t they just block them completely? These scammers are a pain for everyone, but they really freak out older folks.

In response, I expressed my intention to verify the authenticity of their claim by conducting a Google search on their given number. Puzzlingly, the moment I mentioned this, the caller abruptly hung up. Curiously, I then used the facility of dialing 1471 to uncover that the call had originated from 009999945.

Got the same call from 009999945, really annoying! I dont get why BT don’t just block these numbers for good? Seems pointless letting them keep ringing.

They just keep ringing me non stop! Can't get a break from these calls!

A remarkably impolite man informed me that my BT internet service would be terminated today. He was quite disdainful when I inquired about his name, stating that it was none of my concern.

The computer belonging to BT's technical department is currently experiencing a hacking attempt. As a precaution, they have decided to disconnect it. Previously, they had requested access to my computer, which I declined. Unfortunately, in response, they resorted to making derogatory and offensive remarks towards me.

We are no longer bothered by unwanted calls as we now have the ability to block any undesirable numbers on our Call Blocker phone. When blocked numbers attempt to get through, they are noted on our call list without causing our phone to ring. What a relief it is.

when i picked up the phone it was completely silent then after around 15 seconds a recorded voice said ‘goodbye’ and then hung up.

Earlier today, I received a call but was met with silence when I answered. I repeated 'Hello' a few times, only to hear a recorded 'goodbye' in response. This call was quite bothersome and disruptive.
