Today I got a call from this number and it felt really fishy. I've been scammed a few weeks ago, about three, and I reckon it might be the same lot. The guy said he was from some "government squad department" - not fraud squad, not tax squad, or any usual ones, just something weird like "squad department." Had a look at this site as well to warn others about these dodgy folks. Oh, and by the way, the caller sounded Asian.

I received a call from this number at 07:59, but it was just dead air on the other end.

Picked up the phone, yet all I encountered was dead air.

I got caught out by a scam where they convinced me to pay for Norton, but really they just signed me up for some dodgy LycaRemit money transfer thing instead. Proper sneaky!

I picked up the phone this afternoon during my lunch break. There was a bit of a silence on the other end, which made me think it was best to end the call. Just as I was about to hang up, I caught the sound of a man saying 'hello', but by then I had already hit the end call button and the line went dead.
