Today I got a call from this number and it felt really fishy. I've been scammed a few weeks ago, about three, and I reckon it might be the same lot. The guy said he was from some "government squad department" - not fraud squad, not tax squad, or any usual ones, just something weird like "squad department." Had a look at this site as well to warn others about these dodgy folks. Oh, and by the way, the caller sounded Asian.

Got a call from this number at 7:59, but there was nothing but silence when I answered.

Picked up the phone and nothing, just quiet on the other end.

I got caught out by a scam where they convinced me to pay for Norton, but really they just signed me up for some dodgy LycaRemit money transfer thing instead. Proper sneaky!

So I picked up this call about midday, and there was just silence for a bit. I was about to end it when I caught a bloke saying hello, but it was too late - I’d already hit the end call button and dropped the call.
