I got a ring from this number +39 3487925871. Picked up and just said Hi, but nobody replied after a few seconds so I ended the call. After I checked, the +39 is an Italian code. No clue why anyone from Italy would be trying to get in touch with me.

Absolute novices when it comes to financial scams. They can’t even fake a number from the country they’re calling from (0039??? Really, India and Pakistan manage this easily on a huge level) and they come across as nervous and clueless. I’d give them 2 out of 10 for trying, but a big fat zero for actually pulling it off. Not convinced even my doddery old neighbour would be taken in by this!

Got a call from +39 2073816746 claiming to be from the Inland Revenue. They said I’d failed to respond to letters about some unpaid tax and now there’s a warrant for my arrest, with someone coming to see me soon. Sounds like it was from Italy. As usual, it was an automated message telling me to press a number to talk to someone about it.

The bloke on the line spoke with an Indian accent and said his name was Brian - yeah, sure! Just ended the call straight away.

Seems like it could be a scam, so my advice is don’t bother answering and just block. Thanks to everyone who shared info about this number, really helped me out. Just got a call from +3936223485213157 saying theres £600 taken from my bank to somewhere abroad - they told me to press 1 if I want to sort it. Bit fishy if you ask me!

The number 0039376023670 has been ringing my 96 year old mum almost daily about some Amazon Prime subscription renewal. Since she doesn’t actually use Amazon, she just puts the phone down straight away. Luckily, she’s pretty sharp and knows these calls are just scams.

Just got a call from 0039315842666 and it was a total scam, they tried to charge £600 to my card. Never press 1 if you get this call! There really needs to be a proper way to block things like this.
