Got a voicemail on my home phone from 00312, was something about a Western Union deal or whatever. The message cut off halfway but I could tell it's one of those dodgy scams. I usually just ignore any calls from numbers I don't recognise anyway.

Got a missed call today from ###, rang just before I could answer and hung up straight away. Feels a bit dodgy to me. Last year we fell victim to a scam, and ever since, we've been getting random calls from strange numbers like this one trying to pull the same trick again. Watch out for this sort of thing!

Got a call from 0031248912958, some automated lady voice claiming to be from a security company. Didn’t sound legit at all so I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.

Got a call from 003120****** claiming there were suspicious charges on my card. They didn’t give any name or proof, so I figured it was a con. The automated voice told me to press 1, 2, or 3 to speak to different departments - I just hung up straight away.

Got a call at 7.50 this morning saying there’s “unauthorised activity” on my internet! They said I’d get cut off if I didn’t talk to their manager! Press 1 or something… just a recorded message.

Got a ring from 00312081610720, claimed it was an international call. The bloke was on about renewing insurance for kitchen appliances. Told him I don’t own any and not interested. He then asked for my address to send some forms over - I told him no way he’s getting that. Sounded like a posh English guy. Watch out, this smells like a scam trying to nab your personal details.

00312840074488 Got a call claiming to be from the Amazon verification team, saying there was a purchase made on my account with the time and amount to be paid. She said the order was on hold and they needed to confirm it with me. She kept repeating the same thing over and over, sounded like she was reading from a script. Felt very dodgy to me, like a scam. I think she was about to ask for my details. She promised to give me a number to call back and check for myself. I told her I’d sort it out on my own, then she hung up. Of course, nothing showed up on my accounts.

I keep getting calls from 003120 8080102 or 01988 303031, and they always ask if I’m Mr maHHHHHH (Christian name). No clue who they are, but the voice sounds like it’s got an afro-caribbean accent or something. They ring at the oddest hours and are proper annoying.
