2 yearsI got a text from 0322 210 010 078 9 saying it was from Binance with some kind of verification code for a new device. Thing is, I haven’t attempted to register any new device at all. I gave the number a ring to check but no one picked up. Quite suspicious if you ask me.5 yearsI got a call from 03225890224 and when I picked up, there was a recorded message saying it was from my bank. It warned me about two dodgy transactions - one for £300 and another for £1,000. The message told me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to talk to someone. I didn’t press anything and just hung up. Then I tried ringing the number back but got a message saying “number not registered, please redial.” After that, I searched the number online and luckily found this helpful site. Cheers!5 yearsGot a voicemail that supposedly was from my bank but never mentioned which one, just a dodgy message telling me to press 1 to stop payments of £300 and £1300, or press 2 to talk to someone. Proper freaked me out so I logged into my bank account online to check and thankfully there was nothing dodgy going on. I then looked up the number and yep, it’s a scam. People need to be careful with these calls!6 yearsI got a call from a number 2 5217827 with this automated American woman’s voice. She said something about my internet provider, though she never actually said which one, claiming there was some illegal stuff happening on my connection last night. Then she said they’d cut off my service within 24 hours. Afterwards, she asked me to press 1 to talk to a supervisor if I wanted to sort it out. Sounded like one of those usual scams to me.6 yearsI answered my landline when 0322 640 7727 called, but there was total silence on the other end. I waited expecting them to say "hello" or something, but nothing. Then suddenly the call just dropped. Strange!6 yearsTotal rip off, watch out!6 yearsGot a call on my home phone from someone saying they were from Amazon security. They knew my name, which freaked me out a bit since I don’t think Amazon has my landline number at all. I didn’t give in and told them to send me an email instead, without handing over my address - if it was legit, they’d already have it, right? It’s been about 30 minutes and still no email. Also, the number they called from, 0322 1369 1828, looks dodgy and probably faked. Definitely a scam, so watch out, folks. Stay safe!Amazon6 yearsI've been avoiding picking up calls from 0322 because I've heard some crazy stories about those numbers causing harm if you answer. Apparently your phone could even blow up and hurt you, which sounds mad but it’s made me too frightened to ever respond to unknown callers. Better safe than sorry I suppose!6 yearsThis number from Layca Mobile kept calling me and asked for my personal info.
