I received a similar phone call from someone claiming to be from Eircom. However, because the company has changed its name and I do not use their services, it immediately raised suspicion for me.

Earlier today, I received a call that abruptly turned silent, and soon after, the line got disconnected. Despite the odd encounter, I should count my blessings that it wasn't an attempted fraud from the nonexistent "Department of Social Security," an individual claiming my "Amazon Prime" account requires reactivation, or someone representing Eir. Rest assured, I have no association with either of these entities.

A man with an Indian accent introduced himself as "John" and inquired about any issues I may be experiencing with my broadband. However, he did not mention that he was calling from my service provider nor did he ask for my name. Moreover, he seemed unaware of the device I was using and asked me which search engine I was using.

Yesterday, we received two phone calls from a number with the code 00325. The first call came from the number 00325###, and the second one from 00325###. We chose not to answer either of these calls.

I received a call from a call centre claiming to be from EIR. They were aware of my landline provider and called to address issues with my broadband speed. However, I suspected that this was a scam call as they seemed to be taking advantage of the fact that I actually have a problem with my broadband at the moment. The caller's number was 00325 ### ###. Upon answering the call, they greeted me in French, and while I didn't catch the third dialect they used, it seemed to be German. They went on to mention the speed issues and assured me that my current service would be free. I had a feeling that if I continued the conversation, they would eventually ask me to pay for an upgrade.

The caller claimed to be from BT and alerted me about an issue with my internet connection. Since this number repeatedly surfaced, I decided to block it. It was quite noticeable that the person's accent indicated an Indian origin.

Thanks to Caller ID, I don't bother picking up calls from unfamiliar numbers. Instead, I allow them to go straight to voicemail. The most recent call I received was from an unidentified individual who decided not to leave a message. This leads me to believe that it was yet another nuisance call, which has become quite common for me. To combat this, I have gone ahead and blocked the number. On a typical day, I receive around 3-4 calls from these pests who claim to be conducting surveys but are actually attempting to sell me something or access my bank account.

It's an unusual number. I do not have any clue about the caller's identity, however, I did block it today.
