Been getting calls from an overseas number every single day, but when I answer, it's just silence on the line. I've had enough and decided to block the number.

Had a call from some guy trying to pitch broadband and line rental at a bargain price, said £32 a month for a two-year deal. When I asked about the broadband speed, he just said “same as what you’ve got now” - no proper info there. I asked for his website and he mentioned something called switch and save, but I couldn’t find any company by that name. He did say he’d call again, but honestly, I never buy stuff over the phone so I doubt I’ll be hearing from him anytime soon.

I got a call around lunchtime on 27/02/2018 and there was nothing but silence when I answered. When I looked up the number, it turned out to be from Ascension Island. Seems like it’s probably just another scam or some kind of auto-dialler messing about.

Today at about 4.21pm, my landline rang from 002476680265 but I didn't pick up. Earlier this morning, my husband got a call on his mobile from a number pretending to be Moroccan. The person asked about life insurance. He lied and said he didn’t have any, and was told they'd ring back later in the afternoon. We’ve since blocked the number. Because our business is run from home, our landline and mobile are connected, which explains why my phone rang too.

On the 23rd of February 2018, I got a call at 2:47 in the afternoon but didn’t pick up. Then, on the 26th February, around 2.36pm, the same number from Ascension Island rang me again, but as soon as I answered, they just hung up straight away. That was that, really.
