Got a call at half past one in the morning, thought it might be something serious with family. When I called back, the phone just cut off on me. Then I saw I was charged £2.50 for a 20 second call. Total scam!

Loads of folks from Nigeria keep bothering ordinary people, it's like they're everywhere on social media with tons of fake profiles in every app you can think of. I've been caught up in this loads of times and it's pretty upsetting. Just a heads up to everyone, don't go trusting every social site, stay sharp! They even ring your mobiles using numbers starting with +23 or sometimes they pretend to be from the UK. Stay safe out there!

Since the weekend, this number has been calling me close to 20 times. I kept blocking it but they just tweaked the last couple of digits each time. In the end, I blocked the whole prefix +262 and now my phone stays quiet.

In under a day, I've received more than 20 calls from places like Portugal, Albania, Poland, Sudan, Central Africa and Moldova. The numbers they used were things like +236 2278 2436, +236 2278 2438, +351 236227 82440, and lots of others with similar prefixes. I accidentally called one back cause I pressed instead of swiping away, and got charged £2.50 for just a second! Quite annoying when you’re getting flooded with calls from all over like this.

This morning, I had 2 missed calls around 2:13 and then again at 2:46 in the early hours. Proper annoying as I was up and hoping for a chat at that ridiculous time. Whatever muppets they are, they’re a pain.

Got two calls from this number, one came through at 13:39 and another at 14:48. They only rang twice before cutting off.

I got calls from three separate numbers all ending in 2437, 2434, and 2433. I’ve put them on block now so they can’t get through again, but it seems a bit dodgy. They rang late at night and early morning - first one was about 11:24pm from the 2437 number, then a couple of times just after midnight and around 1am from 2434, and twice more at half past one and nearly 3am from 2433. Definitely feels suspicious to me.

Got about 5 or 6 calls late last night, between midnight and just after 2, but they only rang once each time. Also noticed the number would switch up a bit now and then. Quite odd!

Got three missed calls from these numbers: +23622782433, +23622782438, and +23622782437. They rang at 23:33, 23:55, and again at 02:40. They’re completely unfamiliar to me and came while I was fast asleep. As I have no one I know from the Central African Republic, I looked them up online. My advice: don’t pick up or return the call.

Got three calls from this number between 1 and 2 in the morning, each time it only rang a couple of times before stopping. Also got one from a very similar number. Decided to block them both, didn’t bother answering.

This number rang me twice during the night, both times woke me up. Ends with 32 as well, which is odd. Honestly, I can't think of any proper reason why someone from central Africa would be calling me out of the blue like that.

I'm really starting to get annoyed. Since about 11.30pm, I've had three calls from numbers that only change the last two digits. It's gone 2.45am now, and I've still got to get up in just 3 hours. Last night, my husband’s phone kept buzzing with missed calls at 12:14am, 1:23am, 2:00am, and 4:15am. I got three calls from the same number too, starting just after midnight and the last one coming through at 4:32am. It was so irritating having our phones ringing constantly in the middle of the night! Luckily, we found it suspicious and figured it was probably a scam. But honestly, if this had happened to my elderly parents, I’m worried they’d have answered, thinking it was urgent or an emergency. Could’ve been a right worry for them.

Since midnight, I've gotten 4 calls and it's now 2:30 in the morning. The phone rings a couple of times then cuts off. They’re using 3 separate numbers, but the last three digits keep changing. I've blocked every one of them, fingers crossed I can catch some sleep now. Seriously, BLOCK, BLOCK, BLOCK!
