Dear Sir or Madam, On Wednesday 6th October ###, I got a call on my landline, which is protected by a "phone interception shield". The device alerted me to the identity of the caller before I answered. I took the call thinking it might be someone I didn’t have blocked, or possibly a scammer. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a scammer. Once they mentioned something about my laptop, I quickly said I wasn’t interested and hung up. The number that called me was 00170 ### ###, and they claimed to be from a company called Globalsoft. I was rather foolish back in ### when they rang me late at night, warning that my laptop needed an urgent update. That phone call ended up costing me - I had to replace my laptop because of the trouble they caused. Their email address is [email protected]. Thanks for listening, M P Goulding

Got a call from 00170### this morning around 9 sometime, but when I picked up there was just silence on the other end.
