Got a call earlier from someone pretending to be from BT, banging on about my internet being cut off for months or something daft. Told them to wait while I sorted things out inside, then disappeared to make a cuppa. Hopefully, they were still there waiting when I got back!

Got a call from some bloke with an Asian accent, and when I questioned why he was ringing from overseas, he told me "ma'am, this is a London number and I’m with BT." I was like, when did London start being abroad? The number’s definitely not from London, plus I’m not even a BT customer. I told him straight up he was a scammer. Without a doubt, he’ll ring again, just like yesterday and the day before. Same rubbish, same reaction. X

Got a call from a US number, second one this afternoon around lunch. They claimed my computer was hacked - total scam. I told the guy with an Asian accent to do one, and he actually called me a foul name! I could have said a lot more, but I kept my calm and he hung up. Honestly, someone needs to put a stop to these annoying calls!

Got a call where someone pretended to be from BT, but the way they spoke was really threatening. Seemed dodgy as hell, definitely a scam trying to scare me. Watch out for this kind of stuff!

I received a rather dubious phone call earlier. The person on the other end claimed to be from BT and warned me that my internet would be disconnected for three months. Naturally, I thought it was a load of rubbish, and as soon as I expressed my disbelief, they hung up. Quite the odd interaction!
