Got a call from some bloke who said his name was Peter - pretty typical Indian name. He claimed it was just a survey, no sales pitch. I went along and answered a few straightforward questions like if I get leads from Google and other sites, and if more leads would help my business grow. Then this other person pops up on the line, insisting they're only trying to assist and not sell anything. I said no cheers and hung up. Ten minutes later, the same number rang back, so I told them again to stop calling.

Had a nightmare with this number, the phone kept ringing 7 times straight. When I told the woman on the other end I wasn't interested in their so-called business visibility offer, I just hung up and even cut the line off. But barely two minutes after I switched it back on, she rang me again. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from a number that looked like it was from the US, but as soon as I picked up, I could hear a busy call centre in the background. They were asking for the owner of a business, but I just stayed silent for a second and then they dropped the call. Pretty obvious it was some sort of Indian call centre.

This number keeps calling me almost every day but hangs up before I can pick up. When I tried calling back, it said the number was "incorrectly formatted" or something like that, so I couldn't get through. Today I actually caught the call and got stuck with a caller whose voice was annoyingly high-pitched and their English pronunciation was so off that I barely recognised my own company's name! The whole pitch was nonstop and really bad. Eventually, they put me through to some Trade Finder service in the UK, but by then I was so put off I wasn’t interested in any offers, no matter how good.
