Got a call from 00143 about some broadband deal, just hung up on them straight away.

I'm originally from Pakistan and recently received a phone call. The person on the other end inquired about my interest in relocating to Canada, mentioning that I qualified since I had previously filled out an online form for a Canadian visa. In order to receive more information about the immigration process, he requested a payment of $1700 US dollars. But after conducting some research, I recognized that these individuals were actually scammers. Consequently, I have decided not to answer any further calls, even though they persist in contacting me.

Early this morning around 7am, I got a call from someone who said his name was Henry and claimed to be with the phone number blocking service. The accent was quite strong, and it reminded me of a call I received yesterday from 01259212979. That person also spoke with a thick accent and said they were from BT outreach regarding my broadband. I’d already looked up the number since it rung earlier in the day and saw it was a scam. When I called him out on it, he got pretty rude. I told him to remove my number and ended the call.
