Got a call this evening from a person asking if I was selling some shares I supposedly own.

For the past few days, I've been getting loads of early morning calls before 8am from various numbers like ### xx ### xx. One of them was 00141###, but I don’t pick up or hear anything when they ring. Still, they show up as missed calls, which is annoying. It’s a pain trying to block these on a landline.

Got a load of calls from different numbers beginning with 00141, and after checking with my Portuguese phone provider, it's definitely a scam. They've reported the numbers and blocked them on their end. You might want to do the same to avoid trouble.

Today alone, I’ve had two calls from a number starting 00141, with a bloke introducing himself as John claiming to be from BT. Quite fishy if you ask me.

If you've got a Panasonic landline, try this: when the number pops up on your phone, tap it and then scroll down to ‘Save Caller ID’ and select that. After confirming, you'll see another menu where you need to scroll further to ‘Nuisance Call Blocker’ and hit that option. That should stop them from calling again.

This number with the 00141 code keeps ringing me over and over. I've got some kind of fraud blocker on my phone but no clue how to stop it on my home phone. First call, they tried telling me my internet was about to be disconnected, asked me who my provider was but they had no clue and just hung up. Then another time, they told me Amazon had charged me a load of money. Today, they rang again and stayed quiet, so I just started singing into the receiver to mess with them.

I didn’t pick up since I didn’t know this number, and there was no voicemail left. Probably one of those Nuscience calls.

Earlier this morning, around 9 something, I got a call on my phone from the number 00######790074. It went straight to voicemail. The message was clearly pre-recorded. They mentioned my full name and said there was an important message for me, telling me to ring back on that number. They also asked me to mention ref ###. The lady who left the message spoke quite quickly but her English was pretty clear.
