I received a call this evening from an individual expressing interest in buying some shares I own.

Over the past few days, I have been receiving numerous phone calls from various numbers, all before 8am. One of the recent calls came from the number 00141###. Although I have chosen not to answer or return any of these calls, they still appear as missed on my phone. It's quite challenging to block numbers on a landline.

My Portuguese phone operator has confirmed that this is a fraudulent activity. I have received numerous calls from different numbers beginning with 00141. The phone operator has reported these incidents and blocked all of them. I kindly request that you take similar action to protect yourself.

To block calls on my mobile phone, I simply need to tap on the number, scroll down, and select "Save Caller ID". After that, I can scroll further down and choose "Nuisance Callblocker" to block the unwanted calls. Meanwhile, my corded landline phone is a Panasonic model.

I have received multiple calls from a number with the prefix 00141. Although I have a fraud blocker on my mobile, I don't know how to block this number on my landline. The first call claimed that my internet provider would be ending my service. When I asked which provider they were referring to, they didn't know and abruptly ended the call. The second call alleged that Amazon had charged a specific amount to my card. This morning, I received another call, but instead of responding, I simply started singing into the phone.

They also emphasized the need for me to quote reference number ### when returning their call. The voice in the message was that of a female who spoke quite rapidly but fluently in English.
