Got a call from an asian gentleman who politely asked, "Is this Mr. Smith?" I kindly told him he'd got the wrong person. Nothing too unusual, just a bit unoriginal.

Had a call at 11:58 this morning from a woman who asked for me by name. She claimed to be from energy solutions. I cut her off and asked straight away where she’d got my info from and why she was contacting me since I’m not a client, have no ties to their company, and I’m signed up with the telephone preference service. She couldn’t give me an answer. Told her to delete my details immediately if she could!
