Got a ring from this number earlier but didn’t pick up since I rarely answer calls from unknown numbers (if it’s something important, they usually leave a voicemail or call back). Had a look on this site and found out it’s marked as ‘dangerous’ with plenty of warnings and shared experiences. Just wanted to mention I’m from Moray up in northern Scotland, so seems like they’re reaching out here now too - maybe worth updating your map to show this area.

Today I got a call from a polite guy trying to tell me I was paying too much for boiler cover. He gave me an extension, which was 2123, and said if you hold on you’ll get put through to accounts. When I asked him to confirm my name and address, and mentioned my new boiler was under warranty so I didn’t need insurance, he just hung up on me. This isn’t the first time either; the same number 0208161/290 called me before.

I just received a call from someone who identified themselves as representing a firm named Secure Your Home. They were chatting about some insurance I don’t possess, and before I could respond, they abruptly ended the call. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

Loads of calls coming in from this number and some others like 02037694998 and 02080896505. Luckily, BT's 1572 service has them all blocked for me. Still, I wonder just how they manage to get hold of your phone number to begin with. Who's out there giving or selling your info to these lot?

Got a call from 02081610290 about five mins ago, some bloke claiming to be from Secure Homes. He said we're overpaying on our plumbing cover and offered to cut the cost. Sounded fishy, like I've had calls like this before. Just ended the call straight away. Pretty clear that it’s just another dodgy scam trying to steal your info.

Received a call purportedly from a company named Secure Your Home, stating that my sewer and drainage insurance had expired. The strange thing is, I’ve never even heard of them and I definitely don’t recall ever signing up for any such insurance. When I probed a bit further, asking for more details about their company, they abruptly hung up on me. Quite dodgy behaviour, if you ask me!

Beware of this idiot using the number A1 P#### - I looked up other numbers linked to them like 020 3769 4998 and 020 8133 5566. You can find loads of info about this muppet on the who called me site, just use those numbers for comparison. Don’t answer or share any details with them, they’ll just forward you to some expensive premium rate line. Anyway, I logged into my BT account, went into the security settings, and added this number to my BT blacklist. Now, any calls from them go straight to my junk voicemail!

Like a few others mentioned, this bloke claims to be from the firm that insured my boiler, but surprise surprise, there’s apparently a problem with the insurance. Total con artist! I run my own heating business and have plenty of insured customers already. I’ve reported the number and blocked it straight away.

I got called by someone asking for John about some boiler cover I don’t even have. Tried telling him he’s got the wrong person, but he just kept going on and on. Eventually just hung up.

Got a call from some dodgy lot saying they were from boiler insurance. Told them my landlord sorts out the boiler insurance so I don't need any. They just kept going, telling me to grab a pen. Ended up hanging up and then looked up the number here on this site. Total scam, be careful!

Got a call from Secure My Home. The bloke said he noticed my current plumbing and heating insurance wasn’t the best and wanted to offer me a new deal. I asked, “Sorry, which company did you say you’re with?” and he just hung up on me. I do have cover, just not through those dodgy lot.

Got a call from a bloke trying to sell an insurance policy to an 82-year-old woman who's really poorly. Told him we'd be reporting them to the training standards people, and then he just hung up without a word. Honestly, it's disgusting - how do they not feel guilty about messing with vulnerable folks?

This bloke kept waffleing about some pipe and drain insurance, saying he could sort me out with a cheaper deal. Tried to jump in but he just rattled on like a machine, didn’t stand a chance. Then he said to hang on the line while he switches me over to the accounts team to grab my info. Ring any bells? A bloke rang me and just wouldn’t stop talking, never gave me a chance to say anything. Claimed he was from some domestic appliance insurance firm and said I already had a policy with them, offering a better deal. When he finally stopped for a tiny moment, I straight up asked, “Are you a scammer?” Nothing but silence from the other end. I asked again, same silence. Then suddenly the line went dead. Definitely a scammer. Blocked him straight away.

Got a dodgy call from someone in Eastern Europe pretending to give me a discount on plumbing cover. They asked for my bank details, claiming they follow GDPR rules to protect my info.
